JT Takes A Style Step Forward With William Rast’s 2009 Spring Collection

Style.com has covered the new Spring collection of JT’s William Rast clothing line in their Style Notes section, placing it in the list of lines that are “Fit to Print.” Along side JT’s new emerging title as style icon stands Cushnie et Ochs, Joseph Altuzarra, and TV socialites Blake Lively along with her female co-stars. Here’s what they said of JT’s pieces:

Most stage-to-street trends are regrettable: Hammer pants come to mind. But sometimes a savvy pop star manages to capitalize on his or her look with a legit fashion line. Take Gwen Stefani, whose rock/ska/rasta mash-up, L.A.M.B., grosses close to $100 million annually. Now, Justin Timberlake and Trace Ayala, who were childhood pals in Tennessee, are hoping for similar success with William Rast, a denim collection that’s been expanded to include men’s and women’s ranges designed by Johan and Marcella Lindeberg. Expect Southern staples with a Hollywood edge. As long as there aren’t any “Frankie Say Relax” shirts, we’re happy.

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel were spotted showing each other some love, exchanging a kiss on the streets of LA yesterday, August 28th, before going their separate ways. They’d just come from shopping for some furniture at Bisazza Mosaico (which sounds a lot like a fancy title for ’tile store’, an item I’d thought they’d already taken care of). They look adorable, per usual, and I have to say they might be one of my favorite Hollywood couples. New Justin Timberlake Downloads

If you’re a book nerd and a JT fan like me, then I think you’ll enjoy the new section on the Downloads page–bookmarks. Yes, bookmarks. Now you can stare at Justin in between paragraphs of that romance novel of yours and dream of you and him replacing the fiery red head and dark haired dare-devil in the book (can you tell I’ve read a few of those things?). JT Grabs Two EMA Nominations

Yet another nomination for the Madonna/JT/Timbaland collaboration, only this time it is for MTV Europe’s Music Awards. It has been nominated for “Most Addictive Track.” UPDATE: In addition, JT has also snapped up a nom for “Best Act Ever,” which, hello, no brainer. Fans are now able to vote on the EMA official website, HERE. The show takes place November 6, 2008. Not much info is available, but let’s hope JT makes an appearance.

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel Attend Radiohead Concert

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel were spotted at a Radiohead concert last night, August 25th, at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. I’ve always known JT was a Radiohead fan, but what’s most eye-catching is how big a fan they are of each other. They seem very affectionate, and look incredibly adorable together! Justin Admits Hearing Himself Perform is “Painful”

Fox News recently posted an article where Just Timberlake admits that he hates to hear or see himself perform, because he is never satisfied. Well this certainly goes along with his view of himself as a perfectionist when it comes to his art. As a dancer, I completely understand. I always think I look ridiculous, but chin up, Justin – you’re awesome! Here’s the full article:

Justin Timberlake may be a megastar, but the “SexyBack” singer still struggles to accept his artistry.

It’s painful for me to either watch or listen to myself. But even when you’re not fully satisfied with the outcome, that’s what makes you hungry [. . .] There is gratification in the fact that you a. make people smile, b. make people dance, c. make people laugh or d. make people make babies.

Baby-making aside, Timberlake has a very unromantic take on the acting arena.

Acting is a totally different process than music. Music is a study in the romanticizing of human behavior, he explained. I have found that acting is [. . .] is the opposite of the romantics of human behavior.

Perhaps JT just needs a good love scene, as it seems the aspiring actor only chooses gritty roles like a drug-dealing gang member in “Alpha Dog,” a disfigured Iraq war veteran in “Southland Tales” and a hairy, Speedo-wearing hockey player in “Love Guru.”
