I’ve uploaded some really cute photos of Justin and Jessica in Amalfi, Italy. Well, Jessica looks adorable, Justin looks a little over worked, haha. Anyhow, the couple was snapped checking out a local church. I won’t even start on the rumors that will spur from that bit of info. . . Click the thumbnail below to view the photos.
We all know Justin’s a big golfer, and he’s been making major strides in the golfing world what with his five year contract with PGA for the Shriner’s Hospital for Children Open. But what you may not know is that Justin, along with his father, actually owns a golf course in Tennessee. That’s right, JT is doing it big, and what’s more, he’s designing the course to be eco-friendly.
Justin Timberlake is putting the finishing touches on the first LEED-certified golf course in the United States. The 27-year-old singer is an avid golfer and his latest business venture, called Miramichi Lakes, takes his love of the sport to a new level.
Timberlake revealed in an interview how he saved the struggling golf course last year from development and decided to open up his own, eco-friendly version. “Originally it was called Woodstock Hills, and it was the first place my dad taught me to hit a ball,” he said. “And last year we found out they were going to auction it off and turn it into a development. So we thought it was such a landmark for the community, we’d scoop it and save it. And we did. We were able to before it was auctioned off.”
“After we had the golf course we said why don’t we refurbish it and make it even nicer for the community. Then I asked questions about what we could possibly do, and we found out we could actually make it a ‘green course’. So when it’s finished this summer it will be a Platinum LEED certified green course. The first in the United States of America, so that’s pretty exciting that you could take all that land and make it eco-friendly.”
According to an article in the Memphis Daily News, all of the buildings on the 303-acre course will be built to the highest LEED-certified green building standards available, a considerable investment. In addition the location will sport a renewable energy field and a walking trail with educational placards and seating for the public to learn about responsible energy and natural resource usage.
Below you will find the third installment of behind the scenes footage taken during the making of Justin’s William Rast mini-films. He is so freaking hot! Enjoy.
But wait, there’s more . . . . I’ve uploaded more photos of Justin and Jessica’s vacation in Rome, Italy. Quite a few more of their first and second days there, and another photo of Justin on the balcony of his hotel [HERE]. You can view them by clicking on the thumbnails below.

On a different note, I’ll be adding a gallery link to the side bar. I don’t know why this never occurred to me before, but soon you’ll be able to get to the gallery to view your favorite pics without having to scroll through all my posts and search for them. Stupid me . . .
I reported earlier that Justin stopped by a small hole in the wall boutique in Rome to purchase some jewelry, a ring and bracelet for Jessica. He did, in fact, purchase those things, but he bought Jessica along, and they actually went on a little jewelry shopping spree. This jewelry buy out occurred the night Justin and Jessica were snapped getting lovey dovey in an alley way. Read more of what really happened below:
Musician Justin Timberlake and actress Jessica Biel continue their Roman voyage on Friday by indulging in jewelry shopping.
A source told PEOPLE magazine that the couple was spotted buying a diamond bracelet and ring from the 1970s.
The couple spent an hour at the unmarked shop on a cobblestone road near Via Condotti, one of the nicest shopping areas in Rome.
The shop was no larger than two phone booths, and specializes in jewelry from the 1950s to the 1970s. There is not a lot of jewelry on display, with a bulk of their merchandise stored in a safe.
Timberlake and Biel went to the shop based on a recommendation and upon their arrival Biel asked the owner to open the safe. She tried on almost every piece of jewelry.
Biel found a 17th century necklace of particular interest. As she tried on the jewelry Timberlake serenaded around her singing a song from the soundtrack of “Easy Virtue,” her upcoming period film.
“I could tell they had very refined taste because they asked about the history of all the jewelry,” said shop owner Nicola Boncompagni.
Biel did not wear her new jewelry immediately and had it delivered to their hotel.
Thanks to Jess at WOJ, I’ve uploaded two scans of Justin in the Shriner’s Hospital for Children Open brochure. Click the thumbnail below to view the photos.
Below you will find some excerpts from Lynne Spears’ (the mother of Britney Spears) recently released tell-all, Through The Strom. To be perfectly honest, I am completely disgusted that a mother would publish a book about their daughter that reveals so much of her most intimate secrets. But that’s my opinion. The excerpts below don’t contain any of those details, but give a pretty clear view of what she thought of Justin and Britney as a couple.
Britney and Justin started dating when she was eighteen. They were a lot alike, those two — much more so than Britney and her future husband, Kevin , would be alike. Perhaps Justin and Britney were too similar and butted their strong wills together too often. For the most part, I liked their relationship, although, not every aspect of it was pleasing to me. Early in their relationship, for example, she and Justin had been having heartfelt conversations about the meaning of life , as all young adults do , and one day she came to talk to me.
And I didn’t like it one bit later on, that the two of them were going to buy a house and live together, at the age of nineteen. But at that point, I could have talked until I was blue in the face about morals and values and – for heaven’s sake — good common sense! No one was particularly open to my input at that time , let’s put it that way.
Justin was part of our family for four years, and to me he will always be that cute, sweet kid from the Mickey Mouse Club days. Justin and Britney’s breakup, though, would be a terrible thing for all involved. I wish they would have parted ways differently, rather than to hurt each other and leave all those scars. It was a story with no end, or rather, I should say, it was a story with two endings, one made up Britney and one by Justin — it wasn’t healthy for either of them. But that was all to unravel in the far future.
Below you will find Justin Timberlake along with his Guru co-stars in some bloopers from the film. Justin only appears for a few seconds, but it’s worth it just to see him be himself and half naked. Really, a two-in-one deal.
Actress Kate Mara, who will appear alongside Justin in his forthcoming film The Open Road, recently confessed to being witness to an impromptu concert with co-stars Jeff Bridges, Harry Dean Stanton and JT during the week of movie rehearsals.
She revealed that she was the envy of Justin’s legion of fans when she witnessed a very special performance by the singer-turned-film-star.
She said: “Justin plays the son of Jeff Bridges and I discovered that Jeff also sings – although I did not know that he had released an album.
“Harry Dean Stanton is also in the film and he sings too and plays the guitar.
“One night when we were all in a bar during the week of rehearsals, Harry took out his guitar and then Jeff joined in and then they passed the guitar to Justin.
“So right there we had this incredible concert with the film’s cast. It was something I will never forget.”
If you’re wondering why the site is looking so funky, it’s cause I am currently trying to put up a new layout. I’ll be updating for the day later tonight!
